Growing up in a family where art wasn't just a luxury anyone could have, but a way of life, it wasn't difficult for me to realize what I wanted to do. From a young age I had wanted to become an artist in some shape or form.
My passion for graphic design came to fruition in junior high when I took my first photoshop class. From then on I became obsessed--my first real venture into graphic design was fandom digital art, which took a backseat when I got into college. For those who don't know what fandoms are, they're small factions of people interested in the same television shows, movies, books, musicians, etc. I would make edits for various different fandom sites and delve into the world of writing fanfiction and other slight craziness.
In college, things changed. My fandom obsessions took a backseat to some serious work. I learn more about branding, as well as video editing, fine tweaking my ability to create beautiful graphics.
For the past five years I've been working freelance while balancing a full time job as I move up in the design world. I specialize in branding and have been learning more about social media marketing, as well as photography, videography, and coding. My goal is to continue growing and learning, broadening my horizons as much as I possibly can as I learn more about my skills and abilities.
