Emerging from a family where art was more than just a privilege, but an intrinsic way of life, my path was clear from an early age. The call to become an artist in some manifestation had always resonated within me.
During my junior high years, I encountered graphic design, igniting my passion, and with my first Photoshop class, I embarked on a journey of obsession. This passion led me to immerse myself in the world of fandom digital art, a pursuit that evolved as I entered college. Fandoms, these vibrant microcosms centered around shared interests like television, movies, books, and music, held my fascination. Crafting edits for various fandom platforms and delving into fanfiction and creative expressions became my focus.
College marked a shift. My fervor for fandom took a backseat to more profound endeavors. It was a phase of concentrated learning, refining my skills in branding, video editing, and the creation of captivating graphics.
As a multimedia producer hailing from the vibrant landscape of greater Seattle, the past eight years have epitomized my relentless pursuit of digital storytelling and innovative creativity. In this time, I've nurtured a dual life—freelancing while climbing the ranks in the design universe alongside a full-time job. Armed with a rich understanding of design principles and tools, my expertise has been honed in the domains of branding and marketing accompanied by an ongoing exploration of social media marketing, photography, videography, and coding. Collaborating closely with clients, I've manifested their visions through captivating designs and imaginative digital strategies.
Recent times ushered a transition into communications. Through a contract role with my local mosque, I shouldered the mantle of Marketing and Design Manager through a contractural period, curating a weekly newsletter and dynamic slideshows that showcased upcoming events, all while contributing to an engaging social media presence.
The helm of Meaningful Mischief Design Co. LLC, my brainchild, is devoted to crafting exquisitely designed mugs, apparel, and home goods, with an emphasis on art inspired by diverse fandoms.
My ethos is grounded in forging robust, positive relationships with all collaborators, extending limitless reviews and feedback throughout project lifecycles. Aiming for nothing short of 100% satisfaction, I am unwavering in delivering high-caliber results and nurturing continuous growth within the field. My ambition remains rooted in perpetual growth, expanding the horizons of my skills and potential.
Beyond the realm of work, I indulge in travel, literature, creative writing, and cherished moments with my family.
